Every scale follows a specific pattern of intervals (steps). The Blues scale is built using the interval formula: 3 - 2 - 1 - 1 - 3 - 2. On the ukulele, because of the shorter fretboard and 4 strings, mastering these patterns is a great way to improve your improvisation and melody lines.
